Awards of Distinction
The University of Arizona’s Office of the Registrar awards distinctions for the following:
- Highest Academic Distinction to students who meet a 4.0 GPA with 30+ units
- Academic Distinction to students who meet a 3.5 to 3.9 GPA with 30+ units
These distinctions are determined by completed and credited letter grades achieved from summer pre-session through the spring semester. Students must complete a minimum of 12 units each during the regular fall and spring semesters.
Students meeting distinction are invited to the Honors Convocation, regardless of whether they are in the Honors College.
