Assuring a Quality Education
UA College of Engineering Main Campus undergraduate degree programs, except Computer Science and Engineering are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.
Computer Science and Engineering, the college's newest undergraduate program, will be eligible to request evaluation by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET after graduating their first cohort of students.
ABET accreditation provides assurance that a college or university program meets the quality standards of the profession for which that program prepares graduates.
ABET accredits programs, not institutions. It provides specialized accreditation for postsecondary programs within degree-granting institutions already recognized by national or regional institutional accreditation agencies or national education authorities worldwide.
