Honoring Student Accomplishments
Engineering Spring Convocation
Thursday, May 14 | 2 p.m.
McKale Center at ALKEME Arena
The College of Engineering hosts one ceremony, requiring RSVP, for all spring graduates. Students receive emails from the Office of Academic Affairs and departments with information about attire, how to RSVP and other event details.
Guest Policy: No tickets required as there is no guest limit.

Parking & Transportation:
- The McKale Center is located on the UA campus at 1 National Championship Drive. The Cherry Street Garage is the closest parking garage to McKale Center and will likely fill quickly, so guests should allow plenty of time to find parking.

Visitors can refer to the parking map for additional options near McKale or checking the University of Arizona Parking and Transportation website.
Student Code of Conduct:
- Students who refuse to follow instructions from Engineering staff or event security may be asked to leave the ceremony.
- Any infractions of the Student Code of Conduct will be reported to the Dean of Students.
Regalia Requirements:
- Graduating students must wear caps and gowns to participate in the ceremony.
- Students must wait to put on their regalia until after they have gone through security.
- Graduating students with a disability and/or those using a mobility device (such as a wheelchair or walker) may go through security without removing their graduation gown.
- Caps, gowns, and tassels are available for purchase at UA Bookstores.
Ceremony Duration:
- The event typically lasts approximately 1.5–2 hours. Students and guests are expected to remain for the duration of the ceremony to fully honor all graduates.
